Innovation Time

'What we want is to have photographs taken of our guests. We then want to have the pics to be manipulated and then projected onto a screen whilst we have our launch.'

Sounds doable. We haven't done anything like this before but it sounds simple enough and we are sure that we can pull this off.

So how did it go? We teamed up with Rupert DeBeer from art.co.za Together we decided to keep it simple. We decided to get as many head shots as possible so that we could cut and paste the heads of the guests onto various albums and film posters. We had to work quickly so the results are a bit on the rough side, but in this case just the thought was more than enough.

The real deal

Imagine my delight when we arranged to do an e-shoot for my bestie Lize and her beau Jas.  We had a great time at Fient Gallery and running around the botanical gardens waiting for the magic light. Can't wait for the wedding you beautiful people! Love you

It's my Party and I will cry if I want to....

It's tough when you're three... after weeks of visualising the moment when she would blow out her birthday candles the big day finally arrived. One voiciferous chorus of "Happy Birthday to you" completed, poor Kenzie looked down just in time to see the eager and qualified Birthday Boy of the previous week confidently extinguishing her birthday flames. Horrified tears were of course the only appropriate reaction to this sad situation. Thankfully once the tears had run their course everyone gathered around for take two and the usurper was kept at a safe distance from the candles. All's well that ends well and with four generations in one room there is enough love to find the silver lining. a lovely day, a delicious cake and a story that will be told for many a year.
