A very merry unbirthday to you...Sunday at the mad hatters tea party

Our first sight of Rosemary Hill was a glimpse of hatted figures, gloved hands gesturing as they engaged in lively conversation beneath the lovely trees. Enter stage left a procession carrying glass teapots containing mysterious beverages of every shade of amber and beautiful tiered cake plates bearing all sorts of delicious looking teatime treats. Being the end of the month we ordered what we thought to be humble scones with jam and cream. We were absolutely blown away when our divine scones arrived on glass cake stands, fresh roses in abundance and to top it all star shaped pats of butter in little glass bowls. A veritable feast. The ambiance is relaxed and rustic but with just enough luxury to make you feel truly spoiled. Definitely somewhere we will visit again.
